Description: Our Student of the Month Awards Program continues to be fostered by Betsy Gorman, a member of the Hamden Rotary Club since 1988. Thank you Betsy for the continous excitement you put into your effort and the enthusiastic gift you give to these children each and every month.

First grader Megan Butler from the Helen Street School received the Jan 2009 Student of the Month Award. Looking on are her teacher and school principal as Betsy Gorman presents Megan the honorary brick which will be placed in the walkway surrounding the town club gazebo. Avaree Carmona 6ht grader at Shepard Glen School was awarded Student of the month.
